Entertaiment is amusement, often involving performance. A clown at a birthday party, a Broadway show, your friends fighting over the last potato chip at the stadium rock concert, all of these are forms of entertainment. The best entertainment companies tell stories, and they build love. Great profits come from the monetization of that love. Entertaiment derives from the French word entretenement.
